Your Role at Logisoft: Are you a seasoned automation professional looking for your next challenge? Logisoft is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC, Siemens) but also in the field of technical vision, high speed scanning, identification, weighing and experience with industrial and collaborative robots. The goal is to lead our automation initiatives from our vibrant team hub in Sofia. As a Senior Automation Engineer, you’ll spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge automation solutions, elevating manufacturing processes to new heights of efficiency and innovation.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and deployment of complex PLC-based automation solutions, driving transformative changes in manufacturing processes.
• Provide strategic direction and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate PLC systems with a diverse array of automation components and technologies.
• Utilize advanced programming techniques and methodologies to develop robust PLC programs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Oversee comprehensive testing and debugging processes, maintaining stringent quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Offer expert guidance and support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases, resolving complex PLC-related issues with precision and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience in automation engineering, with a proven track record of success in Siemens PLC programming and implementation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in programming PLCs from top manufacturers, preferably from Siemens TIA Portal.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial automation protocols with a keen understanding of emerging technologies and trends.
• Strong familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative spirit.
• Motivation and curiosity to always deliver the best technology.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders in Bulgarian & English (German would be a plus).
• Willingness to travel occasionally for exciting project installations and customer support.
